Ran a self-supported 70mile day in the mtns last weekend, using just this fuel, some gels and sandwiches. No vomiting or trail emergencies. A+

I am a distance runner, and this product has simplified priming myself for a run with advanced hydration and fuel. The taste is pleasant but subtle so it doesn’t affect my water bottle and is easy to consume while on the move.

This quickly became of my top favorite fuel options! I have tried so many different ones over the years, but the taste of this one takes the cake! It’s a perfect blend for any distance! Double up scoops for longer runs! Mixes really easily and goes down smooth. Not chalky, bitter or too sweet. Highly recommend!!

• Flavor: Very mild lemon lime flavor with no lingering aftertaste. While clean and non-offensive, the flavor could benefit from a bit more intensity. After prolonged use, lemon lime tends to feel played out — alternatives like mojito, piña colada, or mango could offer a refreshing twist.
• Texture: Slightly chalky when mixed with 16oz of water, though not off-putting. That said, it wasn’t gritty or clumpy.
• Mixability: Excellent. Unlike many electrolyte powders, Epic Fuel dissolves fully and remains in solution — no need to shake continuously to avoid settling.

2. Performance & Digestibility
• Energy Response: Felt a noticeable and immediate energy boost, especially with 80g of carbs taken first thing upon waking. Sustained performance throughout the session with zero crash or drop in energy.
• Carb Strategy: 2 scoops before, 1 scoop per hour during, and 1 scoop post-run proved to be a dialed-in ratio for a 2-hour endurance effort.
• Digestibility: No issues with bloating, gas, or GI discomfort — even with higher carb intake levels. This product is gut-friendly, even under intensity.

3. Overall Impression

Epic Fuel performed exceptionally well in terms of energy delivery, mixability, and digestive ease. While the lemon lime flavor was mild and clean, there’s room for more flavor variety and depth to improve palatability for longer training cycles. Its ease of use and performance make it a solid go-to for long efforts, especially for athletes dialing in high-carb fueling strategies.

I’ve tried everything on the market. This has the best taste and best performance. Hands down.

I haven’t used it long enough to see consistency, but so far with 1.5 weeks of use one thing I’ve noticed almost immediately is that I’ve not had the typical afternoon crash at work after hard workout mornings.

Great taste that’s not overpowering. Easily absorbed and no digestive issues.

Has a light taste that won’t create palate fatigue during long distance trail races. Easy to mix into my water flasks and provides energy for my long runs!

Do it. I’ve been using this product consistently for about a month and I can definitely tell days I’ve used it and days I haven’t. Really impressed with how it fueled my body on the trails, especially now that the heat is starting to show up. I’ve used it during a race and PR’d everything. I’ve used it day to day to help me reach my nutrition goals. Definitely part of my routine now! Big fan!

Really like the mild flavor of this. Mixed well and didn’t leave a crazy sticky film on my teeth. Could absolutely run for days using this!
